Zhuxi Lake Ecological tourist resort,  a national AAA scenic tourism spot as well as Chengdu’s forest park, is located west of Qionglai city, 8 km away from Qionglai downtown, 70km away from Chengdu downtown, just one hour’s drive from Chengdu to zhuxi Lake through Chengdu-wenjiang-qionglai Highway. 
Zhuxi Lake covers a total area of 2768 acres, with 280 acres of lake water, 2347 acres of greenery, 96% of the total area is covered with forest. Zhuxi Lake is formed by the confluence of two streams, namely Big cypress stream and little cypress stream. Bamboos are abundantly growing along the river from zhuxi lake to Qionglai downtown, it has always been a famous tourism spot since Song dynasty, the famous poets such as Lu You enjoyed the tour to zhuxi lake, and this is how it obtained its name as zhuxi lake. The two figures “Zhu Xi” carved on the rock was inscribed by governor Zhang Fang of Song dynasty, Thousand Buddha rock and Huazhi Temple was built in Tang dynasty with long history and research values. Minister of defense Zhang Aiping inscribed three figures “Zhu Xi Lake” during his tour after China liberalization, which creates new attractions to Zhuxi Lake.  
Since 2001, Gaoyu Group has invested a total of 100 million yuan, with the first phase of investment amounting 30 million yuan, to renovate the various tourism attractions within Zhuxi lake. With the second phase of investment, Gaoyu group has built boutique business clubhouse. Gaoyu group will be investing another 70 million yuan on projects such as water wonderland, nature science education, historic culture, sports recreations and other high-end service facilities, so as to have Zhuxi Lake built as bright pearl along the West Sichuan Tourism loop line.
